Mission Statement and Code of Ethics
for the Four Corners Builders Association

Mission Statement

The Four Corners Builders Association is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Colorado Association of Home Builders. This 501(c)(6) non-profit association was established on June 24, 1996 and is committed to:

  • Providing continued education and a forum for networking our members.
  • Being involved in our community and acting as a liaison between our members and the community.
  • Representing the building industry in local government and influencing the local legislative agenda.
  • Promoting safe and sound building practices and community planning.
  • Continue to enhance the public image of the building industry.

Code of Ethics

  1. To conduct business affairs with skill, integrity, and responsibility.
  2. To provide a quality product.
  3. To protect the consumer through the use of quality materials and construction practices backed by integrity and service.
  4. To meet all financial obligations in a responsible manner.
  5. To keep informed regarding public policies and other essential information which affect our business interests and those of this building industry as a whole.
  6. To comply with the rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies for the health, safety, and welfare of the community.
  7. To support and abide by the decisions of the Association in promoting this code of ethics and seeking to resolve controversies through a non-litigation dispute resolution mechanism.
  8. To meet our obligations to the public and our employees by obtaining and maintaining public liability & workman's compensation insurance.
  9. To conduct business by use of a written contract in order to avoid unnecessary conflict and promote trust.
