Highlights of the
11th Annual Home and Garden Show
The 11th Annual Home & Garden Show on April 8 - 9, 2011 was another HUGE Success. There were 80 Exhibitors including local businesses from Montezuma, La Plata and Dolores counties and well as exhibitors from the Denver area, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Minnesota and Florida, displaying some of the latest trends for a variety of products for the home, garden and much more at the annual show.
There was also great food available both inside and outside the main building at the fairgrounds.

FUN FOR ALL
There was a raffle conducted by the FCBA with three prizes (a Toshiba 32" LCD 1080p Full HDTV, a Nintendo Sports Wii, and an Acer 15.6" laptop) that were awarded at the close of the show on Saturday. Each vendor also had items up for bid in the silent auction booth.
Some exhibitors conducted prize drawings at their own booths for products and prizes. Most of the booths also had free gifts for both adults and kids. At least 3500 people attended the two day event.
2011 BEST OF SHOW AWARDS
The 1st Place Best of Show award went to Sunrose Lawn &
Landscape, Inc. - along with the awarding of $365.00 towards a booth in the 2012 show!
The 2nd Place Best of Show award went to the
Log Homes of the Southwest, Stone Sand & Gravel,
A1-Affordable Landscaping & Excavating booth.
A BIG THANKS to all of the people who worked on the show, built Pet Houses for For Pet's Sake silent auction, donated items for the silent auction, displayed their merchandise, and also those who attended the show. Without each and every one of you, this show would not be such a HUGE Success.
And a special thanks to all the FCBA members who helped out and went the extra mile. It takes only one good idea, but many strong backs.
